About Us

The Lundquist Institute for Biomedical Innovation at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center (TLI) is a key partner in the UCLA Clinical and Translational Science Institute (Lundquist Harbor-UCLA). TLI is leading nonprofit research organization driving advancements in medical research and patient care since 1952. TLI collaborates closely with Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, a public hospital within Los Angeles County Health Services serving southwest LA County.

UCLA CTSI at The Lundquist Institute:

  • Provides the clinical infrastructure to support Lundquist and Harbor-UCLA Investigators
  • Partners with the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science
  • Has a mission to bring biomedical innovations to bear on the greatest health needs of Los Angeles, an ethnically diverse metropolis of more than 10 million people
