The Biomedical Informatics program provides access to electronic health record (EHR) data across multiple institutions, builds computation resources for data management, analysis, and sharing, and formulates and implements coordinated plans for data security.

The data consulting service helps researchers access REDCap; it’s a mature, secure web application for building and managing online surveys and databases, and Orchid Training for Clinical Research – PowerTrials. Our team also retrieves EHR data using Power Insight.

The data request service requirements:
- Requestor/PI/co-PI must be affiliated with DHS and have with a DHS Employee or Contract number (e/c#) and DHS email.
- The request must only be research-based.
- Identified data sets require IRB approval

2. Data Request Cost:
First 1-3 hours free consultation, then $75/hour for Lundquist Investigator and $150/hr for non-Lundquist investigator.

What's DHS Research Project Request (RPR)?
CTSI Informatics collaborate with DHS design online electronic DHS research request process.
Who need to submit the form?
Any researcher who need to use DHS resources (Including: DHS staff/physician’s time and effort;
Access to DHS Patients for study recruitment; DHS consumables and supplies; Fixed cost DHS resources) need to fill in the form.
Do I need to fill in Research Order (RO) form?
If the following DHS resources is needed, a Research Order (RO) form need to be filled out.
