ABOUT USWe Serve Investigators in All Aspects of Biomedical Research

The Lundquist Institute for Biomedical Innnovation at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center is a key partner in the UCLA Clinical and Translational Science Institute (UCLA CTSI), a collaborative research effort with the University of California Los Angeles, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. Our mission is to address the most pressing health needs of Los Angeles, a diverse city of over 10 million people, by advancing biomedical innovations that improve health outcomes.

The Lundquist CTSI accelerates clinical and translational research to enhance patient and community health. We provide the infrastructure, services, and training needed to conduct clinical and translational research more efficiently, effectively, and innovatively.

The Lundquist CTSI offers consultation in biostatistics, study design, data management, and biomedical informatics, while also promoting community engagement in research. The CTSI at The Lundquist Institute at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center supports a range of Translational Research Cores including cardiac imaging, cardio-pulmonary exercise testing and assessment, specialized hormone measurements, among other specialized services.  Additionally, the CTSI provides support and resources for studies involving human research participants through our Clinical and Translational Research Center (CTRC).
